Oh boy, it’s almost here. After seven long months of planning, our big day is just around the corner. We want to thank everyone who has RSVP’d. We’ve already gotten a number of great cards and gifts from those who won’t be joining us, and while we’re sad we won’t see you on Sunday, we promise to post a lot of great photos soon after. And for those of you who are joining us, you’d better bring your dancing shoes!
Not much else to report. Lots of little things to do still. It’s the details, people!
See you soon.

17 days.
I’m feelin’ the crunch. It’s okay though, help is on the way. Less than a week and my sister, Leigh, will be arriving and soon after, my mommy dearest, and hopefully soon after that, Claire and my dad and then Chris’ family will be rollin’ into town as well. Do not doubt that I will be putting them to work. We’ve got shopping and glueing and spray painting and stamping and garland-ing and baking… goodness…
It’s exciting though. I’m pretty pumped to marry Chris Arth. And I can’t wait for everything to settle down so we can start to settle in together. I know the next few weeks will go by so fast but hopefully we can find the time to enjoy getting to hang out with all of the people we love so much that are coming to help us celebrate.
It’s a little stressful but it’s gonna be really really great!

Hey everyone! We finally have our RSVP form up on the site, so if you’re reading this now you should definitely take a second to fill it out. We’ll still be sending out printed invitations by the end of next week, but we need everyone to RSVP online by June 25th. So, why not do it now!
We’ve also added links to our online gift registries. Feel free to take a peek at them!
That’s all for now!

“Two months two days ago” says Lindsay. She’s right. Close enough, though.
Let’s see… since our last update we’ve gotten our wedding rings, booked our rehearsal dinner venue, gotten clothes altered, purchased items for the venue decor, asked our mentor Ben to officiate our ceremony, and sent the first part of our invites to the printer!
On the subject of the invites, our plan all along has been to send out printed invites and encourage our guests to RSVP for the event on this site. Hopefully it’ll save everyone some time, energy, and postage. By the end of this week, we’ll be inviting everyone to RSVP by clicking onto the RSVP page and filling out a short form on it. Don’t worry, you’ll still receive a printed invite in the mail a couple weeks from now (and if you ask us, they do look pretty sweet) but the earlier we can get a headcount the better. So keep an eye out for that form in the next day or two.
We’ve started adding a few of our favorite photos from our engagement shoots to the new Gallery page. Check them out. Photo credits for those go to our close friends Joe and Tiffany Carolino.

Well, shoot. Three whole weeks since our last post. It’s hard to believe that July 25th is now less than three months away! It seems even shorter when you just count the number of weekends until then. Yikes!
Lindsay and I have some exciting news: The other week we signed the lease for our new apartment! We’ll be living at Tupelo Alley on Mississippi Avenue in Portland. Lindsay moves in on May 15th, and I’ll be joining her after our honeymoon. We’re so excited to be leaving behind our two tiny studio apartments and moving into our very own one bedroom place. The apartment complex is brand new, so we’re the first tenants to live in the space. Needless to say, it’s quite an upgrade for us and we’re looking forward to making it our new home. (Our little fur-ball Gladys will have much more room to run around and go crazy in!)
Well, I have some wedding invitations I need to finish designing. We’re hoping to get those mailed out in a couple weeks (if all goes as planned) so keep an eye out for them later this month.
